The City of Olympia, Washington, converted a former police training facility into a solid waste transfer station. The lead-contaminated site had a TCLP level of 720 prior to remediation. Titan Earthwork, LLC remediated the soil using EnviroBlend. Once completed, the soil was removed offsite. The resulting TCLP level was below RCRA hazardous limits, enabling the area to be zoned a non-hazardous landfill. Additional benefits included cost savings and long-lasting treatment.
